Sports Car Championship Canada presented by Michelin adds Honda Indy Toronto to 2022 Schedule

The Sports Car Championship Canada presented by Michelin (SCCC) will make its debut appearance at Exhibition Place during the Honda Indy Toronto weekend, July 15-17. In just its second year of operation, the SCCC will be on full display at one of the largest motorsport events in Canada, the Honda Indy Toronto.

This announcement puts the Sports Car Championship Canada presented by Michelin on the top step of sports car racing in Canada. In mid-July fans will be able to see some of the best and biggest sports car teams in Canada racing along side some of the most famous names in motorsports as they share the weekend with the NTT INDYCAR SERIES teams and drivers.

McLaughlin Breaks Through with First Career Win at St. Pete

Scott McLaughlin delivered on the promise he showed to Team Penske when it signed him straight from touring cars to race in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES, earning his first career victory Sunday in the Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg presented by RP Funding.

NTT P1 Award winner McLaughlin drove his No. 3 DEX Imaging Team Penske Chevrolet from the pole to victory by .5095 of a second over reigning series champion Alex Palou, who applied heavy pressure to McLaughlin over the closing laps in his No. 10 NTT DATA Chip Ganassi Racing Honda as they raced among and through slower traffic.

NBC Sports, INDYCAR Announce 2022 NTT INDYCAR SERIES Broadcast Start Times

INDIANAPOLIS (Monday, Jan. 10, 2022) – NBC Sports and INDYCAR have announced the broadcast start times for the 2022 NTT INDYCAR SERIES schedule, which will feature a record 14 races on broadcast network NBC, headlined by the 106th Running of the Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge on Sunday, May 29 at iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway, with coverage on NBC beginning at 11 a.m. (ET).

2022 Schedules Announced for Indy Pro 2000/USF2000

PALMETTO, Fla. – Andersen Promotions today unveiled the 2022 schedules for the two junior levels of the Road to Indy Presented by Cooper Tires – the Indy Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires and the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship – which will feature all races in support of the NTT INDYCAR SERIES.

INDIANAPOLIS (Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021) – INDYCAR has announced a 17-race schedule for the 2022 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season, which will feature its bold and daring athletes competing against the thrilling backdrop of unprecedented coverage on network television, an earlier start date, a re-energized summer of fan favorites and a turbocharged stretch run.

Newgarden Wins at WWTR: O'Ward Grabs Championship Lead

Josef Newgarden earned his second victory of the season by winning the Bommarito Automotive Group 500 presented by Axalta and Valvoline on Saturday night at World Wide Technology Raceway in a race that shuffled the NTT INDYCAR SERIES championship deck.

Newgarden drove his No. 2 Sonsio Team Penske Chevrolet to victory by .5397 of a second over Pato O’Ward’s No. 5 Arrow McLaren SP. O’Ward didn’t enter Victory Lane, but he also was a big winner of the night by taking the championship lead by 10 points over Alex Palou, who placed 20th after being eliminated in a three-car accident early in the race.

Power Extends Reign as King of IMS Road with First Win of Year

INDIANAPOLIS (Saturday, Aug. 14, 2021) – Will Power finally got his first victory of the 2021 NTT INDYCAR SERIES season on a track he has mastered like no other.

Power drove the No. 12 Verizon 5G Team Penske Chevrolet to victory in the Big Machine Spiked Coolers Grand Prix on Saturday on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course, his fifth career win on the 14-turn, 2.439-mile layout that debuted in 2014.
