July 8, 2012 (Toronto, ON) – After a closely contested race on the streets of Toronto, Ryan Hunter-Reay of Fort-Lauderdale, Florida captured the 2012 edition of the Honda Indy Toronto. His victory, his third consecutive in the IZOD IndyCar Series, propels him to the leadership position in the series standings. His win was hard fought in an exciting race that featured multiple leader changes, two cautions and numerous incidents of car-on-car contact. Charlie Kimball earned a career best performance with a second place finish while Mike Conway impressed fans with a swift shift from an 11th starting spot to a season-high third place finish.

July 7, 2012 (Toronto, ON) - Victor Carbone was able to keep the No. 3 Mav TV/Nevoni/Sam Schmidt Motorsports with Curb-Agajanian car pointed in the right direction for the most part during qualifying on the wet 1.75-mile, 11-turn Exhibition Place street circuit, which was prominently responsible for him claiming the pole for the Toronto 100.

July 7, 2012 (Toronto, ON) – Team Pelfrey driver Jack Hawksworth re-asserted his position in the 2012 Star Mazda Championship presented by Goodyear with his third victory from the pole in Race 1 of the Star Mazda double-header at this weekend's Toronto Indy. Controlling the race from flag to flag – despite a standing start that left two cars stalled on the grid and several race incidents resulting in full-course yellows – Hawksworth brought his #82 Team Pelfrey / TORGOEN Swiss Watches / EXA Networks Mazda home 0.295 second ahead of Zach Veach, who started 3rd in the #77 Andretti Autosport / K12 / Zakosi Data Backup Mazda, and 1.156 seconds ahead of Gabby Chaves, who started 7th in the #19 JDC Motorsports / CLARO / Marca Colombia / Tecpro Mazda. Chaves now has three podium finishes this season and moves up to third in the points; Veach has two podiums, with today's result his best so far.

July 6, 2012 (Toronto, ON) - Tristan Vautier's maiden voyage through Firestone Indy Lights racetracks hasn't encountered any major pitfalls -- he has three pole starts and two victories. It appears he's quickly learned the nuances of the challenging 1.75-mile, 11-turn street circuit at Exhibition Place, too.
